Kane Williamson vs Ravindra Jadeja
Williamson vs Jadeja could be the battle to watch out for. Jadeja was unplayable with the ball against RCB. He bamboozled both of the team’s match-winners Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers and cleaned them up. Jadeja would be on cloud nine after his day’s out in the last game. But, Williamson is one of the greatest players of spin on earth, even better than the legendary de Villiers. The Kiwi captain can definitely challenge Jadeja’s supremacy if the two players come face-to-face in the match. It would be interesting to see who comes out on top.
Faf Du Plessis vs Rashid Khan
Faf du Plessis is the CSK’s most experienced opener. In the last couple of matches, he and Ruturaj Gaikwad have got the team off to very good starts. The South African batsman will be high in confidence when he will face SRH’s bowling attack. Rashid Khan is currently the best leg spinner in the world. Even high-quality players find it difficult to score runs against Rashid Khan. The Afghanistan bowler will definitely break the opening partnership of CSK.
Jonny Bairstow vs Deepak Chahar
Pacer Deepak Chahar has been exceptional for CSK at the start of the innings. He had sensational figures of 4 for 13 against Punjab Kings and then picked another four-wicket haul against KKR. Every time the wicket has had something in it for Chahar, the bowler has been destructive. Even otherwise, Chahar has managed to keep the runs down. He is very accurate with his skills. Bairstow is someone who can get frustrated if kept quiet. Chahar would like to adopt the ploy against Bairstow.
Suresh Raina vs Khaleel Ahmed
Suresh Raina is back with a bang. He is looking in good control and confidence. He will be challenged by young fast bowler Khaleel Ahmed. With T Natarajan ruled out and Bhuvneshwar Kumar having picked up a niggle, left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed has suddenly become hugely significant in the scheme of things for SRH. He will have to raise his game against CSK. It will be tough against Suresh Raina, who has displayed supreme form so far.
